My son's visit went waaaaay too fast!

Well they're back in New York & we're missing them like crazy again! Our visit was waaaaay too short. But it was so great to see them and love on them. We had such a great time!

This is a picture of my visiting son (on the left) with my daughter & my youngest son. I call them a "Reverse Oreo". LOL My sons are the vanilla cookies & my daughter is the yummy fudge filling. LOL Aren't they all good-looking! I'm so proud of each one of them!

Photo op

We had a wonderful post-holiday celebration with my son & his wife yesterday.....complete with a yummy turkey dinner with all of the fixin's! Here's a pic of me with the happy couple. My son is soooooo thin! The life of a first year resident doctor really takes it's toll on your body. My poor baby boy! He ate & ate & ate til he couldn't eat any more. (his wife had just put on these comfy Valentine pants that my daughter had just given her.....LOL)

WooHoo! I'm so excited! My son & his wife moved from southern California (where we all live) to New York last June & they just came last night for a 10 day visit! I am so excited (oh.....did I say that I was excited!) LOL

He's a first year resident ER doctor at a New York hospital so needless to say....he's one busy boy! I'm so proud of him! (you can see him & his cute little wife in the photo challenge when you click on "older posts")

My very first award!

Thanks to my good friend & "sister from another mister" Nora (Handmade & Heavenly by Nora)...I received my very first award. Yippee Skippee!!! What an honor! Thanks a bunch, Sis!


Now I'm supposed to say 7 things about myself before passing it on. Let me see.....

1. I love the Lord....He's my first love!
2. I love my hubby Frank of 35 years & my beautiful family who keep me on my toes but melt my heart.
3. I love my online friends who have made my life complete & strengthen me in ways that they will never fully know. I love you ~ my sisters....mwah!
4. My grandmother taught me how to embroider pillowcases as a little girl. I also loved coloring with crayons (still love the smell of those Crayola Crayons). These creative avenues started my love for crafting.
5. I started making cards when I began stamping with some good friends over 10 years ago (we had tons of stamping parties).
6. I discovered Computer Crafting a few years ago & fell in love with it!
7. I plan to learn PSP and Photo Shop this year.....wish me luck!
