CUC DT Remembrance card

Craft Us Crazy is having a new challenge & this time we would like to see your "Remembrance and/or Love" card. I made this card for my hubby for Father's Day.........cuz we have TONS of memories in our almost 38 years of wedded bliss. I cannot believe how fast this year is flying by.........this is already our 9th challenge at Craft Us Crazy! Seems like we just began.

I used this darling TeddyBo image called "Lazy Days". Isn't he just soooo cute laying in the grass smelling that pretty flower with not a care in the world. Toooo toooo cute! Oh to be that carefree! I also used my newly discovered Bearly Mine Designs "Spring Blossoms" DP. Isn't it so pretty. They have oodles of beautiful designs. I want them all! LOL

CUC/DT/The Pixie Cottage ~~Is it Thanksgiving?

No.......you don't have to check your calendar to see if it's Thanksgiving & I don't think I've flipped my lid.........yet. LOL Although with the cold & rainy weather we've been having here in southern California in May I'm beginning to wonder if it isn't fall or winter. But I guess every day should be Thanksgiving cuz we're so blessed. Anywho.....it's our halfway point for our Craft Us Crazy challenge blog's 8th challenge. We want to see your "Favorite Embellishment and/or Something New". My FAVorite embellie is flowers and my something new is my DP from Bearly Mine Designs. Wowie..........we've seen so many amazing creations in our challenges. I can't believe that we're already up to almost 300 followers.
Our Sponsor for this half of the challenge is The Pixie Cottage. They gave me this darling image to play with. Isn't that little mouse soooo cute with his full tummy. The image is called "Pumpkin & Pie". I tried to give it a Springtime feel........with the pretty DP & flowers.

I powdered the pie with some Doodlebug sugar coating glitter (cuz I love my 'real' pie with lots of sugary goodness) & I used my 'regular' fine glitter on the pumpkin & background DP. I recently purchased that gorgeous DP from Bearly Mine Designs called 'Spring Blossoms'. The flowers in the DP are made by Trina Clark so I also purchased her 'New Beginnings' digital overlay that compliments the Bearly Mine set. Isn't it pretty! I think I'll be using this set a lot.

Yay! My dgd turns 21 today!

I can't believe my beautiful granddaughter Alexis is 21 years old today. Where does the time go? I tell ya........seems like only yesterday that I was waiting for her arrival at the hospital with my daughter. Wow! 21 years ago! She is beautiful & talented & smart & funny & everything a grandma could hope for & more.
I made this card for her. It's much different from my normal cards. She's going to Vegas this weekend with her friends to celebrate her birthday so she requested a "Vegas" themed card. Then she loves, loves, loves Hello Kitty. So I thought..........why not have Hello Kitty visiting Vegas. LOL So this is what I came up with. Purple is her FAVorite color & she loves the bling (just like her G'ma....lol). I didn't add anything else to it...........& believe me..........that was hard........not to add ribbon & flowers. LOL I'm all about the embellies but I thought the bling was enuff. LOL
