Wow......can you believe it's already 2009! It seems only yesterday that everyone was worried about Y2K upsetting the world in the year 2000. And now it's 9 years later.........where does the time go???

My Christmas Card for 2008

I always make my Christmas cards for special friends & family. This year I came up with a super easy design. I used pre-made cards by K and Company (designer Brenda Walton.....I love her style)......the embossing was already done for me.....YAY! Then I punched some circles & dotted away with Liquid Pearls "White Opal" (thank you Nora). Then I used Ranger's "Stickles" glitter for some added bling. I topped it off with a little snowflake & tied some pretty ribbon around it from JoAnn's Crafts. Voila! Easy Peasy!

My Baby Girl's Birthday

Today is my baby girl's birthday! Happy Birthday, Kimmie! This is a picture of her at my dgd's high school graduation last June......she's on the right with her BFF!

She has been such a blessing to my life ~ What a beautiful woman she has turned into........so loving & caring! She's the one I can always count on!

A Big Thank You

I want to thank my dear sweet friend & sis ~ Nora for all of her help making this blog possible. She was so very helpful to me & held my hand through this process all the while being in great pain (we're praying for your healing, Sis).

She taught me how to decorate the walls, hang some purty pictures on the walls & deck the halls! I'm not such a plain Jane any more! Whatcha think?

A Brand New Venture

I wanted to do something challenging before the end of the year......so this is it! I'm totally stepping out of my comfort zone into Blogland after some encouragement from my "sisters from other misters" (as Nora would say....LOL) who were brave enough to take the plunge waaaaay before me (I'm the "chicken" sister.....LOL). Thanks Nora, Kathe & Charlene for paving the way!

I look forward to this journey & know I've got A LOT to learn about designing & creating & sharing in this blog.

(I really need to do something with this place! It's looking pretty drab! LOL)
